In 4th ODI after winning the toss and electing to bat it was all about Fakhar Zaman and Imam Ul Haq. Both opened the innings for Pakistan and played exceptionally well. They broke many records while batting together at Bulawayo. Pakistan is going through a dream journey on an ongoing tour of Zimbabwe, first, they won the T20 Tri-angular series after defeating Australia in the Final. Now they are taking all the advantages of playing much weaker side of Zimbabwe in ongoing One Day International series. They are already 3-nil ahead and have this series in their pocket.

Highest partnership for Pakistan for the 1st wicket in ODI cricket:

One of the topmost records was the highest opening partnership for Pakistan. 228 was the previous record, which was made by Muhammad Hafeez and Imran Farhat in 2011 against the same opposition. They scored together to give Pakistan a strong chance of winning another One Day International. Fakhar Zaman also scored his highest One Day International Score surpassing 117* runs, he made his previous highest score on this tour in 2nd ODI at the same venue. Also, Imam Ul Haq joined the party and hit another ODI ton.

Pakistan’s biggest partnership in ODIs ever:

They also broke the highest partnership record for any wicket by any Pakistani pair, surpassing 263 between Aamer Sohail and Inzamam-ul-Haq vs New Zealand in 1994.

World Record Partnership in ODIs:

Fakhar Zaman and Imam ul Haq break the record of highest Opening partnership in ODI Cricket history and race to 304 vs Zimbabwe in 4th One Day International. Previous was 286 by Jayasuriya and Tharanga vs England back in 2006. Imam Ul Haq perishes when he tries to clear deep mid-wicket, he made 113 off 122 balls.

Highest ODI score by a Pakistani:

Fakhar Zaman has surpassed Saeed Anwar’s 194. He now has the highest score by a Pakistani batsman in ODI cricket. Saeed Anwar made these 194 runs against India in Chennai on May 21, 1997.

Sixth batsman to score 200:

Fakhar Zaman becomes the first ever Pakistani to score a double century in One Day Internationals. He is overall 6th batsman to score 200 in an ODI after Sachin Tendulkar, Sehwag, Rohit Sharma, Chris Gayle and Martin Guptill.
